What Baptist India Orphan Homes are doing?

The Beginning:

Orphan ministry is started in the year 1981 considering the massive effects of the 1977 cyclone and its disaster. Aftermath this has given shelter to many children who were effected with brokenness in the family; Today each child in the orphan home has a heart moving reality behind him/her - parents died out of drunkenness, HIV / AIDS, illegal relationships, family strives, poverty, suicide cases, and so on. Once they are in the home it is a different atmosphere. The products of this home are now serving the nation and God in several arenas holding positions like pastors, deacons, academicians, professionals etc.,

Shaping each child to become a fruitful citizen for country and for God.

Mission:

To build the life of a child with moral and spiritual values by introducing him/her to the creator and by providing the basic amenities.

Provisions:

Each child is taken care completely. Accomodation, Boarding, Education, Health and Spiritual needs are provided to each child. A likely atmosphere is offered in the campus with a school, clinic, prayer hall and recreation hall.

Sponsor a Child:

Your little amount of savings will give life to a child in India. $25 per month would be sufficient for a child’s welfare. Please forward us your choice at orphans@baptistindia.org, and we would be happy to send you the profile.

Sponsor an Orphan Home:

As Baptist India has different corners, it is our desire to establish a orphan home in each of these centers, providing accommodation for twenty orphans. Any church or individual can take up this project, apart from @25 for an orphan per month, initial amount of about $1000 would be essential for establishment. For further information please inquire us at president@baptistindia.org, and we would be delighted to send the details of the location and profiles of the orphans and you may visit us any time according to your convenience.
