It is found that 80% people have
come to know of Christ or believe when they were under
the age of 14. History indicates that Christian Institutions
especially the schools had given major contribution in
introducing the Christ to people outside the church.
What Baptist India Public School is doing?
The Beginning:
Baptist-India is running a school for the orphan children
since 1981 at its headquarters. Considering the repeated
requests from the leaders of the surrounding seventeen
hamlets, Baptist India found that a public school is
pertinent to educate the present as well as upcoming
generation to develop their socio-cultural, economic,
health and academic standards.
Context &
Conditions:
Nearly about 80% are functionally illiterate, and are
daily laborers. Generations together are in the same
conditions and have no knowledge of all available government
schemes. Result is that ignorance, child labor, poverty,
family strives etc… They need transformation not
development as there is no ground from where we can
base on and develop.
Vision:
To transform the academic, socio-economic and health
standards of the communities and make them aware and
accessible for all government schemes and benefits.
Method:
By offering compatible education to the child generation;
by introducing adult education programs; and by making
health camps, by arranging gospel meeting.
Sponsor a child:
Your generous donation of $ 200 – 300 per year
for a child would make him/her accessible for semi-residential
provisions which include education, transportation,
books, school dress, meals etc., We are happy to inform
